Important Note: Cruise ships go to BOTH Alexandria and Port Said. They are two completely different ports in Egypt. Please double check your ship’s itinerary to see what port you’ll be coming into before reserving your Shore excursions.

Additionally, a common question that we get is, “What are the differences between the Cairo – Land of the Pharaohs Tour (1 day tour) and the Cairo Overnight Interlude (2 day tour)? Here are the main differences:

• You eliminate 4.5 hours of drive time with the Overnight Interlude.
• Most of the Day One itinerary of the Overnight Interlude is not included in the Land of the Pharaohs tour.
• More time is spent at the Egyptian Museum and the Bazaar, plus you’ll see the Mosque of Mohammed Ali and Citadel as well (with the Overnight Interlude).
• In the Overnight Interlude, you will stay at a hotel at the Pyramids.

Snorkeling at Shipwreck Cove

Our favorite shore excursion while on our cruise to the Eastern Caribbean (Caribbean Princess – July 29 – August 5, 2007) was Snorkeling at Shipwreck Cove, off the coast of St.Maarten/St.Martin.
It was incredible!
The photos are not the best (disposable cam), but I think they show some of the fun we had!
